Interfaz para el comando tail, el husmeador de ficheros de log
Para hacer un seguimiento en tiempo real de los ficheros de log de nuestro sistema, tenemos a un comando llamado tail, es decir que tenemos a nuestro alcance una forma sencilla de extraer información muy valiosas del sistema pero... ¿Es cierto esto de que nos lo pone tan fácil?
Pues parece que no, sino aplicaciones como Tailer+ no verían la luz. Y precisamente de esto se trata, facilitarnos la interacción con esta línea de comando, mediante un completo entorno gráfico, con lo cual, podremos monitorizar cualquier fichero de log del sistema, pero también ejecutar comandos del shell, con un temporizador para ejecutar un comando especifico de forma periódica.
Flexible y parametrizable a nuestro antojo, Trailer+ nos ofrece ni más ni menos que quince parámetros distintos con los que personalizar el aspecto de las ventanas, incluyendo el estilo de la barra, el nivel de transparencia, sombra, color del texto, fondo de la ventana y hasta las fuentes y atributos del texto.
Un detalle importante que merece ser mencionado, es la posibilidad de recuperar todas las ventanas de monitorización y parámetros de configuración y comandos cuando reiniciamos el programa, exactamente como lo dejamos la última vez que se ejecutó,... un detalle que, a decir verdad, se agradece mucho.

Allegro is a library of functions to create video games, written for the compiler DJGPP in a mixture of C and assembler.
