| Purchasing/Licensing
AtFinCalc can be licensed either as for stand-alone clients or for a networked
server. The licenses are not interchangeable.
End-User License: Each PC requires a license. The standalone license cannot
be installed on a network server, such as an application server or a web server.
For example:
A stand-alone application
MS Office Macros
Part of the user-interface client of a client-server application
Single-Server License: Each server requires a license. A server license can
be used by an unlimited number of clients, but cannot be installed or run on
the client PCs. For example:
An Active Server Pages (ASP) application under IIS on any version of NT4 or
Windows 2000 (including Workstation or Professional)
Part of the server of a client-server application
Part of a DCOM application, running under MTS. AtFinCalc must be part of an
MTS package.
If you have load-balanced servers or a hot-standby, then each additional server
will require a server license. The library is licensed for any number of CPUs
in a single server.
