| Character generator for D20 RPG
PCGen is a character generator in java focused to support all the games roleplaying (those in that each participant represents a different character and you/he/she invents the events without text written ahead of time). The most representative are Dungeons and Dragons (3rd Ed., & reg Wizards of the Coast) and Star Wars (& reg Lucasfilm Ltd.).
It provides you help to create a new character or to already modify those existent, he/she also offers the possibility to create insoles of characters and this way to generate several with the same root (several insoles already come included).
All the data files are ASCII, that which means that they can be published by the Pad of Notes, Excel or for your favorite editor while you record it being flat text (without encrypting). It is very expansible, categories, races, divinities, domains, expressions, abilities, charms and weapons can be added.
This written 100% in Java, therefore any system with Java 1.3 or superior can make it work.
