| It visualizes the Desk of a remote computer
VNC comes of "Virtual Network Computing", and it is, essentially, a visualization remote system that allows you to see the Desk of a remote computer that is in any Intranet or in the great net of Internet.
There is not platform limitation in none of the 2 computers, there are versions for Windows, UNIX and Macintosh, and you can see, for example, a Desk of X-Windows from your PC, or a Desk of Windows from a Macintosh using Java.
If you have a servant Unix, and you want to see what messages he/she is giving, for example, it is not necessary that you will light the monitor of the servant, it visualizes the information that you are looking for in your own computer.
